The big game of the weekend in the FIFA International week, for the soccer-loving Nigerians is the one between South Africa and Nigeria on Sunday March 29 2015 in South Africa.
The Bafana Bafana were chosen as replacement for the Black Stars of Ghana for the friendly, the match which will take place at the Mbombela Stadium in Nelspruit,
This friendly encounter will be the 12th meeting between the Eagles and the Bafana Bafana who will begin their 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in June 2015 and the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifying series.
The match is coming over four months after a 2-2 draw in Uyo between the two teams, the result from the match in Akwa Ibom prevented the Super Eagles from defending their title at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea which was won by Ivory Coast.
The Mbombela Stadium hosted Nigeria’s first two matches at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.
