Talents are natural gifts from God that should be appreciated. It’s an innate ability, its inborn, something you can do uniquely and better than anyone else.  However, we may not all be equally gifted as I have discovered from being around talented people. Some people are multi-talented and more gifted than others but we are all naturally gifted with equal opportunities for living life to the fullest. Allow me highlight a few talented people I have come across in Africa.

Reading and listening to Sam Adeyemi’s books and tapes, I am amazed by the deep wisdom found in his writings and teachings on leadership and growing wealth. It is no surprise that he is building one of Africa’s fastest growing church in Lagos, Nigeria, Daystar Christian Center. He is a talented writer, speaker and leader.

 

I have been privileged to attend Onyeka Onwenu’s concert and also listened to her songs. I am overwhelmed by the strength of her voice and how she entertains her audience with her love and peace messages. She is a born singer.

Every time I have the opportunity to watch professional football live, I go to watch one of Africa’s young talented football pro, Mikel Obi. I am thrilled by his skillful dribbles and accurate passes. I am not surprised he has won the highest feat in football and plies his talent with one of Europe’s best club, Chelsea Fc.
