Have you heard the statement, "He/she was a waste of time" before? I have. I'll tell you one of the reasons the state is used.
One of the headaches of relationship and why most don't even often go beyond six months of their inception is boredom, and then, loss of interest.
For instance, you'll see a guy going head over hills for a girl one moment and he goes through all the rigors of asking her to accept him and as soon as she does, he loses interest and begins to wonder what it was that drove him crazy about her.
The girl too may be burning the torch for this crush and as soon as he comes for her and she agrees, she is quickly looking out and having a crush on some other guy. The truth lies in more than what the Nigerian slang calls "seeing finish". "Seeing finish" is just one of the causes, much more will be discussed here.
The fact that you have agreed to date each other doesn't mean that all of you should be opened up to each other at one time. Take it one step at a time. Visitation should be minimal and interesting topics can be hoarded or made as suspense and perhaps carried over to the next meeting.
Pouring it all in few meetings would definitely bring about the question, "Is that all there is?" - the seeing finish factor.
