GREEN TALENT: ACTING CHOOSE ME----AARON SUNDAY

Here’s our Green Talent interview for today: The conversation between Award Nominated Film &TV Actor, Aaron Sunday and Green Platinum’s Talent Advisor, Onwuka M. Onyeka . The fast-rising actor answers eleven exclusive questions. Enjoy!

GP: Can we meet you, sir?
AS: My Name is Aaron Sunday, Film and Television Actor.

GP: What year did you start professionally and how did you start?
AS: How I started Acting! To be Honest, Acting choose me, am proud to say that. Because I remember vividly way back, I never wanted to act or stand in front of cameras entertaining people...No, I never wanted that for me. But like the saying goes, “A Goldfish has no hiding place”. So I started professionally in 2009 when I moved down to Lagos to find my feet and get grounded. It’s a calling I had to answer to...and am still answering to...I still take classes online and offline because I want to be great at what I do.

GP: What has been your driving force?
AS: My driving force is God Almighty; I am nothing without his grace. Passion for the industry and the zeal to be great at what I do.

GP: If you are not an actor, you'd be?
AS: Cliché though but I get this question all the time and my response still stands an Actor.
There's this fulfillment you get when love what you do. And using your body to be different people, gosh, it’s magical and fulfilling.

GP: What were the major challenges you faced trying to gain grounds in the highly talented industry?
AS: I believe that your pains and hurts make you who you are. Success doesn't come easy; you go through rough patches to become great in life. Of course, challenges come with anything you do. It's a tough industry and in order, to stand-out you've got to make sacrifices and pass through challenges. The passion for the job and the industry do not make me see challenges.

GP:  In a scale of 10, rate African movies.
AS: Hmm… am not saying much, but African movies have grown. There's always room for improvement.

GP: What’s your favorite' African meal?
AS:  It may sound cliché; I don't think I have a favorite African meal. I just love to eat what my body craves for. Being a fitness and health enthusiasts, I eat what the body wants but healthy foods though. But I think I love beans cooked in my own way.

GP: Which African country you'd like to visit if I were to pay for your return ticket and why?
AS: Okay now traveling isn't my thing, but I think South Africa would be my favorite African country I would love to visit. I made a research and found out they got amazing drama schools back there.

GP: If you were to hang out with friends, what favorite spot would you likely take them?
AS: Hmm… favorite spot...I don't think I have one. But I love to stay home because I value my peace and quiet. It helps me to read and concentrate on positive things. Though, once in a while, I pay a visit to the cinemas.

GP: And finally, what would you say is your most cherished possession?
AS: Hmm… not thinking twice about it. My most cherished possessions-My Bible, Family, Health, and Career.

GP: Thanks for your time.
AS: You are welcome
